Privacy Patrol Review
My Privacy Patrol offers identity theft protection for individuals, families, organizations and groups. Privacy Patrol is not primarily a ‘credit’ monitoring service. Insead, their Premium ID Theft Monitoring and Early Warning System scans hundreds of online data sources at various intervals throughout the day/month looking for early signs of identity fraud from billions of records inside your identity profile.
If a member falls victim to identity theft, Privacy Patrol offers an insurance protection policy to cover up to $25,000 of expenses lost during the process. In addition, they offer an array of other identity theft prevention and response products like online reputation monitoring, lost wallet services and junk mail reduction services.
What We Like 
We like the Premium ID Theft Monitoring and Early Warning System, which is Privacy Patrol’s proprietary system that scans the web at random daily, weekly and monthly intervals for a specific set of identity theft indicators and alerts members of possible fraudulent activity.
We also like that their recovery and restoration service either assists victims of identity theft to handle the resolution process themselves (eliminating the need for extra expenses like attorney fees) or they will completely take over and handle it for them with a limited power of attorney.
What We Don’t Like 
According to the Terms and Conditions, it could take up to 4 weeks for the time a member agrees to terms for services to become fully activated.
Members do not have access to their credit scores or reports throughout the year, which most of the other identity protection agencies offer. Privacy Patrol only offers a “Free Credit Reports Reminder Service” where they remind members to get their free annual credit report from the credit bureaus.
In addition, they only offer fraud alert and credit security freeze assistance to help members place a free fraud alert or freeze on their credit report files if their identity is suspected of being compromised…but they won’t necessarily do it for them.
The Bottom Line
Privacy Patrol offers a comprehensive suite of identity theft monitoring and restoration services. They don’t offer much in the area of credit monitoring going but they do seem to provide solid Internet monitoring through their unique Premium ID Theft Monitoring and Early Warning System service.
Founded in 2012, Privacy Patrol is one of the newer players on the scene. This could be good and bad. The good is that they will have the latest, up-to-date technology for scanning online data offering early detection and warning signs of potential identity fraud in progress. The bad is that they are so new that their experience with the details and customer service might be lacking.

I got my $100 reward and was able to use it for groceries; I also was interested in their free ID theft protection for the 30-day trial and wound up signing up for the future because it was affordable and monitored against ID fraud which I have been a victim of in the past. Customer service was super helpful as well in addressing my concerns.

Privacy Patrol has been nothing short of fantastic for my family and me including my friends. As customers, we were pleased with the service and pleased with the agent whom assisted us. I was offered ID theft protection for only $29.85 for my entire family including my children and husband. I was also entitled to property protection for only $16.50 monthly and the best part about it was I was able to protect my children. You cannot beat this pricing which offers the entire family full restorative services, lost wallet services, and 25,000 insurance policy without deductibles! Im beyond amazed. Thank you again PP for protecting me and my family,

i think this service is amazing. I love my identity protection. With all of the recent breaches I can sleep peacefully at night knowing that my family and I are protected. Peace of mind is worth the nominal monthly fee.

I also rec’d the yellow card. I called the phone no. I was told they would send me $100 notice to spend online, and to give them my Credit Card no, to charge $1.90. I told the Lady voice that I don’t just give out my no. , and we were disconnected. I called back, rec’d another Lady voice which explained all, and answered my questions. I expect that if I do give my CC no. and they give the credit, that I am automatically signed up for their service, which I would not want. I think I will contact the BBB, and ask what they know about “PP”. END. GR.

My mother tried there start service of $1.90 with so many days to cancel. She found that she was unsatisfied with there service & customer service. From there she canceled while still in grace period. They never canceled her service and proceeded to bill her $11.75 for 4 months. When I called to inquire I was told not to dispute the charges that I was going to have a full refund. Privacy Patrol LLC only refunded one month. Called back again and was told that i was lying about them giving me a full refund and was given $11.75 back as a courtesy. I asked for a manager and the name of the RUDE EMPLOYEE i was talking too. Then all of a sudden I realized I was HUNG UP ON! I proceed to call back and no one answered! POOR CUSTOMER, RUDE, DISHONEST! I definitely would not recmmonded there service.

Privacy Patrol has been charging my 86 year old, deaf mother 20 bucks a month since October. A phone call to them shows me they are scammers who prey on the elderly and refuse to refund her money even though they’ve been shown that she couldn’t have possibly ordered their services. I’m at the beginning of a legal process to recover her money. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

They sent me a yellow card telling I had $100 savings waiting. I called them, they proceeded to want to know MY info instead of GIVING info first and foremost. After my much insisting that she tells me what her company and offer are all about, she finally starts telling me a few things, got to where she’s going to charge me $1.90 really fast, but okay, no big deal. It’s 30 days of ID theft protection where I have to remember to cancel, and you get the $100 savings towards dining, shopping, travel or groceries, online only. However, worse yet, the $100 cannot be used at the major retailers like Walmart or Amazon! I told her I have a special diet – only shop at natural food stores like Whole Foods, I don’t eat out just anywhere, don’t travel much, and only shop at certain places. So if Walmart or Amazon are not included, that’s darn outright crazy!!! Most people shop at one or both of those places quite often. If you’re going to give somebody something, at least try to give them something that most people would want!! And don’t make things hard for them. Anyway, so I declined, not worth it, especially when I don’t know the quality of their ‘protection’.

It was supposed to only have to pay one dollar and they would send me a 100 dollar Walmart card and all I got was a 24 dollar a month bill that was automatically taken off my debit card

This is a scam right from the start tried to cancel this 2 months ago but still charging my card, For what you pay you get s*@t and then can’t cancel it this is a all out bend you over and slamming it home w/o the lube!

not very happy with this i had a very rude agent i don,t remember signing up for this and i tried to talk to the agent i had a letter came into the mail stating yhat i owe 14,95 i am trying to get some kind of understanding what i am getting to pay for he still not talking to me to understand and i still don,t know i called back he made me feel like i am some kind of a dumb ass cancel my account please my telephone # 7737315156 i like to have a proper response

I have not received any of my magazines and have been making payments since November of 2016. so i asked my bank to stop all payments and would like my money back which is $75.80 back please as i have not even got my $100 gift card to walmart either. Not happy at all… so I wouldn’t recommend dealing with them …

They’re not an identity theft company, they like to rib off vulnerable elderly people. And I’m in charge and taking care of one of the victims.. Be careful who you’re dealing with..

Privacy Patrol offers full restoration services at a competitive price. Customer service is top notch. I highly recommend this company.
