Quizzle Review
Quizzle is most commonly associated with being a credit website, aimed to get their member’s scores back in good shape by offering tools that help them figure out the best route to make their next big purchase. However, they also offer identity theft protection, designed to give peace of mind by having a protection plan in place for if the worst occurs.
What We Like
This company obviously understands what’s normal on a credit report, and what isn’t. Credit card companies have come up with good systems to figure out whether or not your purchases are valid or not, this way your cards aren’t put on a hold just because you went out of state and didn’t bother to inform Visa about it. Their organization actually offers all members some sort of (very) basic identity theft protection too for free, so it’s hard to appreciate that feature. While this benefit isn’t exclusive to Quizzle, it’s a good sign that their organization is proactive and interested in using the data available to help their members.
We like the idea that they’ve given people a way to concentrate their services too for those worried about their overall reputation in the real world. If you already use Quizzle and enjoy it, then you don’t have to complicate matters by going with a different company. Quizzle gives you awareness, tools and services, and having as many people in your corner to help is really the best way to avoid feeling completely lost should something happen to your identity.
What We Don’t Like
Quizzle hasn’t necessarily scored a lot of points with their customers in terms of consistency and follow-up. Those who use their credit services state that the scores they see and the scores lenders see are different, which makes for awkward scenarios when they’re turned down for a loan. Those who have provided comments about the identity theft features state that services are vaguely described by representatives of the company. Certainly we couldn’t find many details either about exactly how they do their monitoring.
Interestingly enough, Quizzle is a subsidiary of Bankrate, and Bankrate’s reviews are definitely full of happier customers. This could be a good sign that Quizzle will step up and perhaps start improving their identity services if they want to start appealing to a bigger market.
The Bottom Line
The only plan that Quizzle offers that is comparable to other plans in the industry is their premier plan, but the reviews just don’t seem to bode well right now if you’re looking for the best identity theft coverage. If you do happen to use Quizzle on a regular basis though and feel that their information is accurate and the team is trustworthy, you may well want to choose them for your protection plan.
How Quizzle Works
Monthly Credit Report, Score and Monitoring: Receive information regarding your credit so you can make better financial decisions and determine if information has been compromised. Enjoy monitoring through the company’s service as well, and alerts when something looks odd or suspicious occurs.
Score Analysis: Find out what exactly is holding you back from your best credit score, and get advice for correcting the problem. You can also see what decisions have been shaping your credit score over time, and receive comparison analysis if you have two separate reports from different credit bureaus.
Identity, Public Records and Sex Offender Monitoring: Your information is scanned in both the virtual and physical worlds. Whenever your information pops up where Quizzle feels it shouldn’t, you have the chance to verify or correct it. You’ll also be notified if a sex offender moves into your area for the sake of your family and yourself.
Lost Wallet Assistance: No matter where you are and what you’re doing, you have a resource to call upon if your credit card has been stolen. Simply provide Quizzle with information upon sign up of what’s in your wallet or purse, and then let them help you take care of the rest.
Bureau Dispute Resolution: See something wrong on any of your three credit reports? Quizzle gives you the means to take care of anything that might be incorrect to help you get a better score
24/7 Support: You always have someone to call if you have questions or need some type of assistance, even at 1:00 a.m. on Christmas Day.

Started in 2008, they’re a subsidiary of Bankrate which aggregates data from all 50 states.
